Abhaya & the Steam Injuns
Initially it was the hard work; originality and soul that helped create the unique sound of Abhaya and the Steam Injuns in January of 2003. Abhaya had always been featured in well known bands such as Parikrama, Red Skywalkers and Punchtatva but what she had been seeking for was a band that would tilt towards her vision of making groundbreaking music. Their first self titled album, released in February 2005, was a runaway success and the band managed to carve a niche amongst the youth of Nepal. With their second album, Nayan, hitting the nepali charts and embracing a larger listenership, this band has established themselves as one of the best that Nepal has ever seen or heard.

Parachute XVI
At the core of it, we're a blues band, skulls and bones included. That said and done, the members in the band come from different backgrounds – literally, philosophically and musically and this is what is the flesh, cartilage and soft tissue that makes up Parachute XVI.
Parachute XVI is now a trio with the fourth member being a dormant laptop that nestles alongside Ananth's array of analog equipment. With a packed schedule consisting of gigs and studio dates, one might argue we have nothing better to do. Well, Bacchus says this is our life, we agree.
Food
In the beginning of 2009, five food-loving guys got together to celebrate some of the finest music made down the years.

We cover crowd pleasers like Pink Floyd, U2, Clapton, Brian Adams, Pearl Jam, Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Green Day etc.

North East Express
An extremely talented rock band from, the name says it all, the Nort East of India.
Faridkot
We call it Confused Pop. Why “Confused”? We hope someone can help us solve that riddle soon. But we’ll help you out with what we’ve got till now…the confusion mostly comes in once you hear a mix of pop vocals, bluesy guitar playing, funk bass lines, melodic(and sometimes pompous) electronic layers flavored with a pinch of jazz-based drums all combined together in a heap of musical endeavours that we like to call our own. Sometimes in love, sometimes trying to be funny and a little more loving (we’re a bit unlucky in that sphere); we just like to play some good music which might transcend the individual inspirations that each musician brings forth.
Valentine Shipley

Advaita
Advaita is an eclectic fusion band based in New Delhi, India. As their name suggests (an ancient Indian philosophy meaning Non (A) Dual (Dvai), the band has a spiritual dimension, which runs through their work. The members of this outfit come from all kinds of musical backgrounds from rock to Indian classical. Their brand of contemporary ‘organic’ fusion has however, been hailed as one of the most original and creative sounds to ever come out of the Indian underground music scene. No where else can one hear a sarangi, tabla and Hindustani Classical vocalist blend so effortlessly, yet so exotically with guitars, drums and keyboards. Added to this brew are electronic soundscapes, which give their music a new age global context.
Aleph
According to Borges, an Aleph is a point within which all time and space is contained and can be viewed simultaneously. Aleph, the word meaning "one" in Arabic is a point or state where an infinite amount of information is stored and processed. Aleph, the band was formed in mid 2008 when Varun(bass) and Waseem(guitars) decided to form a band which would cover all their influences, genres of Indian music and experimental-Hindustani classical-Sufi-and traditional folk. After jamming for a couple of months they got Atif on the vocals, and Bunny on the drums..(also supported live by the tabla and other Indian percussion). The band kicked off from there with regular practice sessions and studio work.

Gautam Ghosh
Gautam Ghosh is a total pilgrim & creating music is his 'moksha'. It's his private testimony of the times we live in & Gautam tries to express these amazing experiences of life in the 'nowness' of existence as a much needed catharsis to be able to go beyond the 'cosmetics' & hopefully embrace life as it comes ….& goes ……..ever so seamlessly ……
His buddies call him 'cave man', 'fossil', 'G-rex' & he simply adores these wonderful titles but the crowning glory comes when absolute strangers admit in unison -'Gautamda, you’re awesome….unbelieveable!'
Nephunk
Strung together by nephew & uncle - NEPHUNK are a band built over many years of family-dinners & basement-jams. Streamlining the mix of computers & instruments for the ultimate, live, audio-visual experience, Ishaan Chhabra [from the Berklee College of Music] & Chintan Kalra [from the parikrama's cool of music] produce genre-defying electro-acoustic performances that are soulful, if sublime... melodic, often grand, and thanks to that 'generation-gap', never ever boring.
Rusted Strings
Formed in 2008, this is the coming together of 5 individuals with just one objective – to let it rip. The band has a distinct metal/alternative sound influenced by internationally acclaimed acts such as Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Alter bridge, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden etc.
A lot of emphasis and energy has gone into creating original compositions and building awareness about the band and its music. Our current set of originals draw inspiration from the issues that we face in everyday life as also the emotions an upcoming band goes through in its years of struggle.
